Meet Deborah

Taking photographs and creating designs is more than a profession, it’s a lifelong passion. Deborah Akinbowale is a photographer and graphic designer originally from New York City metro area whose work has been featured in several outlets and publications. She currently resides in Maryland covering the DMV area. Her focus is to create a seamless experience for her clients while creating the ultimate photo or design.

Deborah’s love for photography and graphic design began early in life, eventually inspiring the launch of D.GraphiKs in 2018 as a platform to pursue her creative passion professionally. She brings a calm, engaging, and collaborative energy to every project, working closely with clients to transform their vision into compelling visual experiences.

Deborah has partnered with a range of companies and organizations—including The Estée Lauder Companies, Amazon, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.—to provide professional photography services  and develop diverse communication materials such as campaigns, banners, floor decals, and event flyers.

Deborah earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Manhattan College and has completed specialized coursework at the American Graphics Institute. She is also a BCSP Certified Safety Professional, bringing a unique blend of creative and technical expertise to her work. Deborah specializes in developing diverse communication materials and training resources tailored to the safety and compliance field.

Deborah has always had a DIY entrepreneurial spirit, which led to the launch of the D.GraphiKs SHOP in 2020—offering customizable merchandise such as t‑shirts, tumblers, and accessories.
